Family reunion of a special kind

Incredible surprise
The charismatic head of the Christian satellite channel SAT7, Rita El-Mounayer, was the morning's speaker. The Lebanese broadcaster and her team transport the Gospel by satellite to the most remote homes in the Orient and reported on gripping viewer stories. The incredible way in which our God orchestrates world history was demonstrated when our second speaker Brother F., grandson of an ayatollah and ex-imam, delighted the previous speaker with the news that he had recently visited the underground community in Mecca: The wife of a local sheikh had found Jesus through the very same SAT7 and so a Christian house cell was established in the heart of the Muslim sanctuary. Our partner gave an impressive account of his dangerous and often miraculous work in corners of the world where few dare to go. Our project managers also provided up-to-date and sometimes unbelievable insights into various ACP project countries.

Community, prison cells and a competition
The guests took advantage of the extended lunch break to regain their strength and exchange ideas. Two special offers were very well received: A prison consisting of 23 grid cells formed the centerpiece of the Kongresshaus foyer. Many guests allowed ACP employees to lock them up there for a few minutes to pray for imprisoned Christians. "I was in tears the whole time and I've never felt so close to imprisoned Christians," said one visitor emotionally. At the outreach stand, interested peoples took part in a competition to win one of our brand new outreach vouchers. The winners are Helmut P. from Gstaad and Sonja A. from Schüpfen - congratulations and lots of fun and inspiration on your outreach! Music of the future
The children's program and childcare for almost 50 children once again attracted a growing number of younger visitors and families this year.
