Move a family

The "Move a Family" project enables poor families to resettle from the countryside to near the city and thus from vegetation to life. AVC buys and renovates vacant homes to give families future prospects. Children can go to school again, parents find it easier to find work.

AVC looks out for families who suffer particularly from isolation and poverty and enables them to “move into life”. In Sarata-Galbena, about an hour southwest of the capital Chisinau, AVC is acquiring land with vacant houses. Together with the families, the houses are renovated and the land is prepared for the cultivation of fruit, vegetables and animal husbandry.
