They also visited villages that had never heard the Good News. They experienced joyful encounters, people who accepted Jesus into their lives, and sick people who were healed.
On the way, the team met a young Indian man who had traveled all the way to Nepal to find relief from his sins. His destination was a temple to which people from all over the world make pilgrimages. There, all sins would be washed away through a bath.
Our partners spoke with the young man, and the Holy Spirit revealed things about his life to them. The Indian man was astonished. “How can you know all this?” he exclaimed. “No one else knows that my business partner cheated me.” This showed the man God's deep love for him. He was ready to accept Jesus.
In another village, the village chief welcomed the travelers. He, too, was a seeker who had already read the Bible and was eager to know more about Jesus. Our partners explained the gospel to him, and he opened his heart to Jesus.
