Rongliang released

In March 2002 AVC organized a demonstration in Berlin for the persecuted Christians in China. One of them was Zhang Rongliang.

Rongliang spent more than twelve years of his life in prisons because he was active for the home church movement “China for Christ”. Now he is finally free again but his health is very poor. Open Doors reports that Rongliang is suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure and after a stroke he is paralyzed on one side. But his spirit is unbroken. He thanks everybody who prayed for him and stood up for him.

Many more Christians are in prisons and camps where they are tortured and humiliated. Our engagement and prayer must continue.
