AVC´s mission

1. Assisting persecuted Christians

“Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion…” according to Article 18 of the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights.  But people, especially Christians, are denied this right in numerous countries of the world. Christians pay a very high price for their faith, even to the point of imprisonment, torture and death.

AVC stands up for the persecuted and their families and gives them a voice.

2. Helping the needy

Natural disasters, wars, exploitation, corruption and much more: The causes of poverty and misery are manifold.

AVC provides lasting help on the basis of Christian values by means of humanitarian and disaster aid, development work and social projects.

3. Making Jesus known

Many people suffer from fears, despair, hopelessness, guilt and ultimately because of their alienation from God.

AVC helps people to accept and pass on the liberating good news of Jesus.
